Local White-Glove Home Delivery (Within 30 Miles)
Reliable Medical Equipment operates a dedicated fleet of delivery and setup vans dispatched from our Downers Grove warehouse. We prioritize same-day and next-day home delivery for urgent medical needs and post-hospital discharges.
Light Items (Under 30 lbs)
Includes walkers, rollators, canes, crutches, commodes, nebulizers, and smaller respiratory equipment delivered to your door.
Heavy Items (Over 30 lbs)
Includes hospital beds, patient lifts, heavy-duty wheelchairs, and lift chairs. Full in-home room placement, mechanical assembly, and caregiver instruction included.
When medical equipment is covered by Medicare Part B, Illinois Medicaid, or private insurance, standard delivery, installation, and setup are covered under the DME benefit with no separate delivery charge to the patient.
Retail Shipping (Continental US)
For non-prescription retail purchases shipped outside our local 30-mile van delivery radius:
- Free Shipping: On all retail supply orders totaling over $129.99 within the continental United States.
- Standard Ground Shipping: $9.95 flat rate for orders under $129.99.
- Orders typically process within 24 hours and deliver via UPS, FedEx, or USPS within 2–5 business days.
What to Expect at Delivery
Our factory-trained delivery technicians ensure your equipment is safe, configured, and ready to use before leaving your home:
- We carry equipment inside to your room of choice (ground floor preferred).
- We assemble hospital beds, calibrate motors, and attach safety rails.
- We adjust wheelchair footrests and walker heights to the patient's physical stature.
- We provide hands-on instruction to the patient and primary caregiver.
